...For they cried to GOD in the battle, and He was intreated of them; because they put their trust in HIM. 1 Chronicles 5: 20
O LORD, is there hope for us as we are fighting in the battle?
From the FATHER’S heart:
MY dearest one— yes there is hope. When these men were fighting, they cried to ME in the battle and I heeded their prayer because they put their trust in ME. They knew they could trust MY Word, and that I would not turn my back on them!
There will be many battles in your life and some might seem very small while others are huge. Will you be like these men in 2 Chronicles 20: 12-15 that cried out,“O our GOD, will YOU not judge them? for we have no might against this great company that cometh against us; neither know we what to do; but our eyes are upon YOU.” ...Then the LORD said unto them, “Be not afraid nor dismayed by reason of this great multitude; for the battle is not yours, but GOD’S!”
MY child, when you read that, does it not fill you with hope and peace that you can trust ME, no matter what your battle? You know what your battle is— finances, your health or your weight, your business or your job, your family or maybe even your marriage! Are you going to end the battle by choosing to quit and walk away so that you don’t have to give in to your fears that you are facing? Why not start today by facing your fears, knowing that your confidence is in ME and that I am here to fight for you.
My prayer: O LORD, help me to win this battle that I am fighting daily.
